Maximize Your
Sound Experience

Let me help maximize your audio experience using techniques in recording and mixing I learned coming up in the mid-town Manhattan recording studio scene. Combining that experience with today’s latest digital technology, I can help you realize that record you’ve been hearing in your head.

My Services

Having built a strong skill set, I am offering my services in engineering, production, mixing, and mastering. I believe in serving the song, whether that means vintage gear or cutting edge digital tools. Keeping the client’s vision in focus and delivering a competitive, professional product is always my goal.

  • Great mixes start with great recordings. I have staffed at studios with extensive mic lockers and great sounding spaces while being taught by some of the best engineers in the game. From intimate vocal sessions to full band recordings both live and in the studio, I can help you capture great tracks. Whether in a setting you feel most comfortable, or a studio that fits your needs from the list of studios I can provide, I want to help the artist capture their best performance possible.

  • While performance is key, mixing is a critical stage in the process. I learned this process, spending thousands of hours as an assistant engineer on SSL consoles for record labels, soundtracks, and jingles. Now, as an engineer I always want to listen to what the music is telling me and combine it with my client’s vision to deliver a professional mix. Of course I always offer up ideas the music sends my way too.

Having used multi-buss mixing extensively while on SSL consoles, today’s in-the-box mixing style was a natural move to make. For those who still appreciate analog processors, I offer hybrid mixing.

  • Mastering is the final step between the creative and the technical aspects of putting out a release. If your mix needs a little help sounding competitive against others, reach out, and I can help.

  • Both as a staff engineer at Quad Recording and later as an independent engineer, I found myself often having to take on the role of producer for many indie acts I was working with. I found that each project is different. Sometimes it’s knowing when to quietly keep things humming along. Other times I am involved with song creation, studio selection, outside players and equipment, and holding a few hands when neccessary.
